Answers: 1. Cherries Jubilee 2. Bananas Foster 3. Baked Alaska 4. Saganaki (Saganaki is a flaming fried cheese, popular in Greek restaurants, especially in the Chicagoland area) 5. Coq Au Vin 6. Flaming Jelly Bean (a cocktail made with oozo or anisette, blackberry brandy, and run or JD. It is then set aflame and legend has it that you are supposed to stick a straw in it and drink it while it is still on fire. But that's probably not a good idea.) 7. Crepe Suzette

UHH, I got three correct. Not to good at Crypto Flambe but I had fun anyway. Good job!
I only got number three. Into the flames for me!
too early in the morning for me but very creative!
My caffeine hasn't kicked in yet, but I'll take some of each! Yum!
ow...my head hurts...and looking at the picture made me hungry...now must take a break to see whats in the kitchen...
I can't believe I spent the time but I got them. Starting with the double t in suzette and the double ee in jubilee. Got hung up on foster and coq au vin though but I persisted.
Very clever - I love this kind of thing!!
I would never be able to answer those, but I can definitely eat them. lol!
I've never tried anything flambeed. I'm too afraid of fire.

As soon as I saw the picture, I thought Bananas Foster. It's to early for me to decipher the words.
Good and fun post.
I love to flambe food *grin* Lovely with a little game. Didn't get them though.
Ugh, I suck at these puzzles!
But now I am hungry for dessert!
somehow i have never had anything served to me on fire...your puzzles are very frustrating! Nice post.
WHAT?!! maybe after a few beverages . . .
Thanks all that tried the puzzle. Special kudos to the Clever Pup. Wish I had a prize to send. Sorry Tom, I will make it easier next time.
Tut-tut: After a few beverages? Have a few of number 6 and you will be ready for anything!
I flambeed poppadums once . . .not deliberately.
Baino: I am ashamed to admit I did not know what Poppadums were until looking it up:

knitwithcats: Yeah thanks. I didn't take it. Wikipedia.
Well, I got here too late for the guessing, but can I stay for the EATING???
I am lazy and embarrassed (I should have at least tried for 'saganaki', me being Greek and all). Oh well at least I love...eating it!
Great TT post
Peace and love
xoxo
This took some thought. Thanks.
Okay, I cheated! But that "saganaki" sounds goooood! great topic for the theme!
Mmm, flambeed sweets!
Really fun post, wish my head was working right now. I love this kind of stuff. I guess I need more caffeine.
Have a great weekend!
that crypto stuff is way out of my league, didn't even try.
sounds tasty though.
I cheated and went to the bottom, because I knew I would not get one right. Although I did try for a few minutes, then my brain got fuzzled and is still that way. But that was a great post.
Thank you for trying to make my brain think.
Oh and at least I am able to get to most sites tonight. A few still not working. Sigh.
God bless.
